Since 1883, FBC Clyde has been a part of the community of Clyde. We have seen the good and the bad in this community and want to partner with you in this journey to our Creator. Together, we live out our faith in ways that affect our community.

First Baptist Church exists to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ and to help people grow to know him better. Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, we believe that our church can help you. Through every event or ministry at our church, we pray that each person will experience a genuine encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. Being around for over 140 years, we have seen much change in our church, from being a chapel in the middle of the country to what it is today.

Our Hope

Regular fellowship with believers is an essential ingredient in Christian growth. Something more than individual effort is needed if love and good works are to be nurtured. The new and living way in Christ fosters fellowship which spurs us on to spiritual maturity.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
