TRAVIS LEAMON

LIFE STORY

Pastor Travis Leamon has dedicated his life to full-time ministry—first serving as a youth pastor then as a lead pastor. Though his role has changed, his passion for the next generation remains strong, and he continues to be closely involved with the teens in church. A native of Wellington, Texas, Pastor Travis brings a warm, relational style to leadership and preaching. A lifelong learner, he received a degree in Biblical Exposition through Andersonville Theological Seminary and is constantly growing in his understanding of God’s Word and how to communicate it faithfully. He and his wife, Mattie, are the proud parents of four amazing children—who keep life full of energy, laughter, and joy. Family is a central part of his life and ministry, and he loves leading a church that feels like home to families of all ages. Outside of ministry, Travis enjoys quiet moments with a good cup of coffee and meaningful conversations far more than a football game. His heart is to lead people toward Jesus, build a welcoming church family, and faithfully preach the gospel.

HOPE FOR FBC CLYDE

My hope for FBC Clyde is that we would be a church deeply in love with Jesus Christ, firmly rooted in the truth of God’s Word, and faithfully committed to making disciples.

I pray we would be more than a place people attend on Sundays—I pray we would be a family of faith that lives life together, carries one another’s burdens, and grows stronger through biblical community in small groups and everyday relationships.

My hope is that every child, student, young adult, parent, and senior adult would find a place to belong, a place to grow, and a place to serve.

And as God grows us spiritually, my prayer is that He would use FBC Clyde to shine the hope of the gospel throughout Clyde and the surrounding communities—reaching people far from Christ, equipping believers for ministry, and leaving a legacy of faith for generations to come.
